TERRA NOVA Ltd. is a Hellenic SME environmental, engineering and consulting firm, which provides since 1999 integrated services and tailored solutions covering the whole range of the contemporary environmental needs of its clients (private and public sector).
Up-to-date, TERRA NOVA has successfully implemented more than 3,000 environmental projects in the fields of:

One of the main development axis of TERRA NOVA is Research & Development in the fields of integrated and sustainable environmental management. Towards this direction over the past 20 years, TERRA NOVA has invested significant resources and it has actively participated in the successful implementation of 15 EU environmental R&D projects, among which in 11 LIFE projects (LIFE IP CEI Greece, LIFE MiCliFeed, LIFE ClimaTree, LIFE DeBag, LIFE InfoCycle, LIFE CONOPS, LIFE AMMOS, LIFE Calchas, LIFE DIONYSOS, LIFE Green Batteries, LIFE MINOS) and in 1 Horizon 2020 (SHui).
TERRA NOVA is certified according to the EN ISO 9001: 2015 standard for its services, EN ISO 14001: 2015 standard for its Environmental Management System and ISO/IEC 17025:2005 Standard (Testing Laboratory Accredited by Hellenic Accreditation System ESYD Acc. No. 792) for its specialized Environmental Laboratory performing measurements of air emissions, air quality, indoor air quality, health & safety, environmental noise, vibrations as well as sampling of wastewater, sea water, fresh water, solid waste and characterization of waste.

Bio
Ioannis is co-founder and Managing Director of TERRA NOVA. He is a Chemical Engineer MSc. graduated from the National Technical University of Athens in 1992. He is specialized in industrial waste management, waste strategic planning and policy formulation, environmental impact assessment, environmental design of renewable energy resources projects, climate change mitigation and carbon footprint calculation. He owns an extensive experience in Environmental Risk Assessment Audits and Environmental Due Diligence.
He has participated in the formulation of a significant number of legislative acts regarding waste management and environmental impact assessment of various project types. Since 2013 he is a professional member (MRICS Environmental Surveyor) of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He leads TERRA NOVA’s Research & Development team and he is the Project Manager of various EU projects.
In the past he had cooperated as a scientific associate with the National Technical University of Athens, being the project manager of various environmental projects mainly focused on waste management.

Argyro is co-founder and Managing Director of TERRA NOVA. She is a Chemist graduated from the Ioannina University in 1990. She received her PhD in Environmental Chemistry (emissions of air pollutants) from the
National Kapodistrian University of Athens in 1996.
She is the project manager of a significant number of TERRA NOVA’s projects as well as the Director of the accredited Laboratory of the company. She has participated in the implementation of numerous environmental projects including environmental impact assessments, environmental audits, environmental due diligence, environmental management systems, calculation of carbon footprint and measurements of various environmental parameters. In the past, she has worked as a consultant /researcher in the National Technical University of Athens, the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and the National Observatory of Athens.

Andreas is an Environmental Scientist graduated from the University of Aegean. He received his Master of Science in Oceanography from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2002. Since 1999 he has
participated in various environmental and oceanographic projects. He is a member of TERRA NOVA’s scientific team since 2005, having participated in a significant number of environmental projects.
Andreas is a Senior Environmental Consultant of TERRA NOVA, highly experienced in the environmental impact assessment of various types of projects, in environmental risk assessment audits and environmental due
diligence surveys, in environmental planning with the use of GIS as well as in integrated coastal zone management (ICZM) and coastal geomorphology. He is a member of TERRA NOVA’s Research &
Development team and Project Manager of various EU projects. He is Head of TERRA NOVA’s team designing and implementing Sustainable Development projects.
Bio
Stathis is an Environmental Scientist graduated from the University of Aegean. He received his Master of Science in Oceanography from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2003. He is a member of
TERRA NOVA’s scientific team since June 2019. He owns an extensive experience in the environmental impact assessment of various types of infrastructure and renewable energy sources projects.
He is specialized in environmental planning using Geographic Information Systems and other geospatial planning tools, as well as in Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM). Furthermore, he is dealing with the assessment of atmospheric pollution by using dispersion models software.
Bio
Ioanna is an Economist, graduated from the University of Patras. In 2019 she received her MBA from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, specialized in Accounting.
She is a member of TERRA NOVA since November 2018. She is responsible for the financial and accounting monitoring of TERRA NOVA’s projects and for the company’s daily administrative procedures.
